GOAT TALK (solo) 2018

Driven by a desire to dis-assemble into non-living forms, GOAT TALK (solo) re- imagines elements of personhood, the body, speaking, idiosyncratic action and attention as mutable territories

Using a microphone and a taxidermy goat; a wetsuit on a chair, a snorkel on the floor; and a large cardboard packing box, this work collapses the moment of death as a time scale, where the concept of stillness equaling death and movement equaling life unravels, entering a new eerie equilibrium of ghosting, hosting and housing form.

GOAT TALK (solo) has been supported by Arts House (Four Walls Residency Program), Hothouse Theatre (Month In The Country Residency) and Lucy Guerin Inc (Residency Program, see footage below).
