Together, we wrote a play together online : a play about dance, or with dance or using dances.
What would it be like to re-imagine your favourite dance; or a particular dancer as a character in a play? By character, I mean re-imagining this dance or dancer as an entity or several entities; to have a particular exaggerated form or material make-up (eg. made entirely of smoke, speaks in staccato), maybe has a feverish back-story, fav activity/incentive, and so on.
How could all these dances could meet on the page and what would happen, what they would say to eachother. Perhaps they might even form some sort of conglomerate body: ‘a body of dances’ (Paz Rojo, ‘To Dance in the Age of No Future’).
